A Fall Tradition: Big Springs Farms
There is a nip in the air, and Starbucks is selling pumpkin spice lattes again. It’s finally time to visit a local pumpkin patch, one of my favorite things to do. Big Springs Farm is a great place to try. I love going there because it gets me in the fall mood, and I always have fun.
Big Springs has a corn maze, which is fun to go through with a group of your friends. In the corn maze there are some scarecrows and many cute Halloween decorations. This is a perfect location to take pictures. If you get hungry while looking for the perfect pumpkin, they have caramel apples, popcorn, candy corn, and boiled peanuts. Personally, I love caramel apples and kettle corn because they satisfy my sweet tooth.
At this patch, all the pumpkins are located under a shed, and they are all unique so no one will bring home the same pumpkin. My favorite thing to do is go on the tractor ride through the woods. It is decorated with spooky decorations.
They also have a cute gift shop that sells candles, decorations, and many more fun fall–themed souvenirs. If you don’t end up getting any pumpkins, make sure to stop by. This is one of my favorite fall places to go to on the weekends, and there are so many fun activities to do, especially with friends and family. If you decide to go to one of these pumpkin patches this year, do not forget to try the delicious food and take cute fall pictures.
