Christmas Morning Monkey Bread
INGREDIENTS:
3 8 oz. Packages buttermilk biscuits
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 sticks butter
½ cup packed brown sugar
PROCEDURE:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare Bundt pan by greasing with butter.
- Cut each biscuit into 4 equal-sized pieces.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl or plastic bag. Drop and roll the pieces of dough in this mixture and gently arrange them into the prepared pan.
- In a small sauce pan, combine ½ cup of the remaining sugar cinnamon mixture with the brown sugar and butter. Bring mixture to a boil and then immediately remove from the heat. Carefully drizzle the mixture over the rolled dough balls.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until tops are starting to crisp.
- Allow pan to cool for 5 minutes. To eat, invert the bread and tear pieces.
