Holiday Haystack

INGREDIENTS: 

Chocolate chips 

Butterscotch chips 

Uncooked chow mein noodles 

PROCEDURE: 

  1. Pour one bag of butterscotch chips and chocolate chips into the microwave safe bowl. 
  1. Microwave the chips for 15 seconds, take it out and stir it up. Microwave for another 15 seconds if needed. 
  1. Pour the chow mein noodles into the melted mixture, and stir them in it until they are all covered in the chocolate/butterscotch sauce. 
  1. Once all of the noodles are covered, scoop small portions of the mixture into a ball-like shape, and place them on the parchment paper. 
  1. Refrigerate the haystacks for 30 minutes.
