Ringing in the spring season with a pep rally
On February 1st, Sequoyah high school kicked off spring season sports and the basketball playoff with a pep rally. After congratulating the winter boys’ and girls’ teams, a representative from each of the spring teams came to the center of the gym and had the opportunity to promote their season. Student volunteers were also able to participate in activities and games competing against the other grades. Throughout the pep rally the band got the opportunity to showcase their musical skills. Towards the end of the pep rally two of the Arrow reporters, Katie Brown and TJ Murphy, had opportunity to announce our giveaway winner. Sophomore Lizbeth Burgos received ten dollar gift cards to Chick-fil-a, Brusters, Culvers, Zaxbys, and Smoothie King.
