Brady’s 7th: Super Bowl LV recap

On February 7th, 2021 Super Bowl LV (55) was played. It was a showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. The game was hyped up as the showdown between two of the league’s best quarterbacks, Tom Brady and Patrick MahomesBoth teams won their respective conferences, with the Bucs beating the Green Bay Packers and the Chiefs beating the Buffalo Bills.

The Chiefs came into the game with a total record of 16-2, and the Bucs went in with a 14-5 record. Both teams looked unstoppable in the few weeks prior to the game.

The Buccaneers proved to be the actual unstoppable team as they convincingly won the Super Bowl 31-9. Their stifling defense left one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL with no answers. Tom Brady was named Super Bowl MVP as he led the Bucs to their second Super Bowl win in history. Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown are other well-known names that put on a show for the Bucs in the big game.

For Brady this is nothing new; he now has seven Super Bowl rings. He continues to improve on a legacy that is etched in NFL history forever, and he is not done yet.
