Chiefs are out to win their last game of the season

The Sequoyah Chiefs face the Allatoona Buccaneers in the last regular season game this Friday Nov. 8th at 7:30 p.m. at home.  

The Chiefs are 5-4 overall and 4-3 in region games, and the Buccaneers are 6-2-1 overall and 6-1 in region games. The Buccaneers have not lost an away game this year, and the Chiefs have a 2-2 record at home.  

Last week, Sequoyah lost to the undefeated Harrison Hoyas 42-7 and the Buccaneers defeated the Dalton Catamounts 17-14.  

The Buccaneers are averaging 29.7 points per game and are giving up an average of 13.8 points. The Chiefs are averaging 20.8 points per game while giving up 18 points per game.  

Last season, the Chiefs shutout the Buccaneers 17-0. Since then, the Buccaneers have scored at least 13 points in every game.  

The Chiefs come into this game ranked 190th in the state and 3547th in the nation. The Buccaneers are ranked 50th in the state and 737th in the nation. 

Come out and support the Chiefs in their last game of the season this Friday at 7:30 for senior night. The theme of the game is senior citizens for seniors and gold for underclassmen.
