Chiefs go bear hunting

Varsity football takes on Creekview Grizzlies on Friday, Oct. 1. This rival game is arguably the biggest game of the season.

The team’s current season record is 2-2, leaving them ranked 7th in the region. Their upcoming opponent has a record of 3-1 and is ranked 5th

The previous season, the team did not make it to the playoffs, their seasons ended earlier than they had hoped. Only the top four teams go to the playoffs, so both teams desperately need the win in order to secure a spot.

The Chiefs’ losses came from Cherokee and Johns Creek. A close game for the Chiefs took place at home with Cherokee at an ending score of 25-26, and a not-so-close game with Johns Creek with a final score of 20-41.

As for Creekview, their only close game was also their only loss. Cambridge beat the Grizzlies with a final score of 7-0.

Come and support your team at Creekview this Friday as they fight in their rival game to take down the Grizzlies.
