On Saturday, January 25th, the Sequoyah swim team will compete in the county swim meet, an event hosting all 6 Cherokee County swim teams. Last year, the Chiefs finished in third place; however, this year, they hope to come out on top.  

Last year, junior Grant Davis placed first in both the boys 500 yard-freestyle and 200-yard freestyle. Sophomore Delaney Harrison placed first in the girls 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle.  

On top of that, Sequoyah took home silver in the girls 200-yard freestyle relay, just 3 seconds behind Woodstock.
