Chiefs hope to bring home a win from South Cobb
The Sequoyah Chiefs football team has an away game against the South Cobb Eagles this Friday, Oct 18, at 7:30 p.m. The Chiefs are looking to win their second game in a row and fourth win overall for the season.
Last week, the Chiefs won 13-0 at River Ridge, and the Eagles lost 62-7 on the road at Dalton. Sequoyah has started the season with a 3-3 record while South Cobb has started off 1-6.
Sequoyah has managed to put up 117 points this season and has given up 90. South Cobb has scored 97 points but has given up 291 points against their opponents.
Last season, the Chiefs beat the Eagles 45-20. This year, the Eagles are ranked 290th in the state and 6,127th in the nation. The Chiefs are ranked 206th in the state and are 3,911th in the nation.
