Chiefs look to stop the Knights’ hot streak

The Sequoyah Chiefs basketball team is playing against the River Ridge Knights at home on Tuesday Dec. 10th at 7:30 p.m.  

This year, the Chiefs are 5-3 overall and 1-1 in region games, and the Knights are 4-5 overall and 2-2 in region games.  

The Knights are 1-3 on the road this year, and the Chiefs are 1-1 at home. The Chiefs are averaging 75.6 points per game and are allowing an average of 70.4 points per game against them. The Knights are averaging 57.8 points per game but are giving up 62.7 points on average.  

The Chiefs are ranked 590th in the nation and 61st in the state. The Knights are ranked 2108th in the nation and 200th in the state.  

The Chiefs beat West Forsyth 83-79 on Saturday and lost to South Cobb in the previous game 78-68. The Knights are on a four-game winning streak.   

Last year, the Chiefs beat the Knights in both games with a combined score of 164-114. The Knights finished the season 3-23 and were 0-16 in region games. The Chiefs finished 22-8 and had a 12-4 record for region games.
