Greco leads Chiefs to 15th straight win
The Sequoyah Chiefs defeated the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets 88-63 on the road this week at Sprayberry to finish off their 5-game road trip. The Chiefs have now won 15 games in a row and are 22-4 overall and 13-2 in the region.
Senior Jacksen Greco scored 25 points on 47% shooting from the field and shot 6/11 from three. He also added 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals.
Senior Deshaun Robinson posted a double-double, dropping 12 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 75%. This is Robinson’s second double-double against the Yellow Jackets this season.
The Chiefs outscored the Yellow Jackets in every quarter, shooting 49% from the field as a team and 41% from long range.
This win gives the Yellow Jackets their 9th straight loss, and they are now 3-20 overall with a 2-13 region record.
The Chiefs will finish their regular season at home against Allatoona on Friday Jan. 31st.
