This Friday, Jan. 31, the Lady Chiefs basketball team will take on Allatoona in hopes of gaining another win. Friday’s game will be the final region game for Sequoyah. 

The Allatoona girls’ basketball team is currently 2-20 with their only wins being against Cristo Rey and Osborne. The lady chiefs have already defeated Allatoona this season with a final score of 64-45.  

Sequoyah is looking to take down the Buccaneers in order to finish as a higher seed in the region tournament.  

Friday is also senior night for Sequoyah. Seniors Macy Williams and Tatum Dondanville will be honored for being on Sequoyah Basketball teams all four years of their high school careers. 

Come out to the War Lodge on Friday night and cheer on your Lady Chiefs.
