Robinson & Greco lead Chiefs past South Cobb
The Sequoyah Chiefs defeated the South Cobb Eagles on Jan. 14th at home 67-56. With this win, the Chiefs are now 15-4 overall and 9-2 in the region.
Sequoyah handed the Eagles their 2nd loss of the season and their first region loss since January of last year, holding them to their second lowest scoring game this season.
Senior DJ Robinson led the Chiefs with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 blocks. Robinson had 10 of his 19 points in the 4th quarter and hit 6 free throws down the stretch. Senior Jacksen Greco dropped 17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
Junior Ayden Watson added 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Senior Point Guard Donovan Shipp put up 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.
The Chiefs have now won 10 straight games and will look to continue their hot streak on Friday as they face off on the road against the River Ridge Knights.
