The Sequoyah Chiefs softball team has a home game against the Allatoona Buccaneers on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7:00pm. Last year, the two teams faced off twice, splitting the series 1-1. The Chiefs finished 8-8 last season, while the Bucs went 14-2.

The Buccaneers, who are 5-6 this season, have won just two of their last seven away games. They are looking to bounce back against the 7-3 Sequoyah Chiefs team, who won six of their last eight home games this season.

Both teams have outscored opponents so far this season. The Chiefs, whose offense has racked up 129 runs already, have allowed just 67 runs on the season. Allatoona, despite their losing record, has outscored opponents 106-72.
