Baseball team looks to jump start region play with win over South Cobb
On March 6th at 5:55 pm, the Chiefs baseball team is kicking off its first region game at home against the South Cobb War Eagles.
The Chiefs, who finished their last season with a 6-10 region record and in sixth place in the region, are looking to start off the season strong with a win over the War Eagles, who also finished with a 6-10 record last season and in seventh place.
Last season, the two teams split the 2-game series. The Chiefs won the first game 10-1, and the War Eagles won the second game 7-3.
This year, the Chiefs are looking for a bounce back season and hope to secure a spot in the state playoffs.
