On November 19th at 7:30 pm, the Chiefs basketball team is set to kick off its season at Woodstock High School as they face off against the Woodstock Wolverines.

The Chiefs, who finished their last season with a 22-8 record and a trip to the second round of the state playoffs, are looking to start off the season strong with a win over the Wolverines, who finished with a 7-19 record last season.

The last time the two teams faced off, current senior Myles Mcgee led the way with 14 points, 6 steals, and 3 assists as the Chiefs won 76-49.

This year, for Sequoyah, the story is bound to repeat itself given the returning talent to the program. Along with Mcgee, five other seniors have returned to the varsity roster, as well as 2 juniors and a sophomore.

Come out to Woodstock High School on Tuesday at 7:30 to cheer on the Chiefs.
